24-year-old’s departure from Manchester United remains ‘likely’ as the club seeks to raise funds

Manchester United are likely to sell 24-year-old Jadon Sancho as the transfer window nears its end. With less than three weeks remaining, the club is focused on generating funds to support their transfer activities. They have already signed Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro and are close to finalizing deals for Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

Following the departures of Anthony Martial, Raphael Varane, Mason Greenwood, and Donny van de Beek, Manchester United are considering further sales. Sancho, who has faced challenges at Old Trafford, could be sold to raise additional funds. Paris Saint-Germain has shown interest in him, although he is not their top target at the moment.

Sancho, who had a successful loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and mended his relationship with manager Erik ten Hag, missed a crucial penalty in Manchester United’s Community Shield loss to Manchester City. This might be his last notable contribution for the club, as he is now lower in the pecking order.

Given his limited playing time and potential for high performance in a new environment, moving away from Manchester United could be beneficial for Sancho’s career. At just 24 years old, he still has a promising future ahead, but it seems his path will lead him away from Old Trafford.
