Scott Mctominay speaks on the toxicity of the Man u Locker room
Scott McTominay acknowledges that the Manchester United dressing room is “toxic.”
Man United players, according to McTominay, are adamantly in support of Ten Hag.
The midfielder acknowledged that under previous managers, the environment in the dressing room became toxic.

Although Scott McTominay has acknowledged that past managers’ “toxic” environments in the Manchester United locker room have persisted, the team still fully supports current manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag has been accused of losing the United dressing room, with further reports emerging after the weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth.
While McTominay acknowledged that previous managers have battled a miserable atmosphere in the Old Trafford dressing room, the Scotland midfielder insisted there is full support for Ten Hag as he seeks to turn the club’s fortunes around.
“It is the players’ responsibility, first and foremost, the players know that as well,” McTominay told a press conference ahead of Tuesday’s make-or-break Champions League clash with Bayern Munich. “We have had many amazing players and right now we are at the stage where we have big characters in the dressing-room.
“It is not just a case of like some of the other managers where it has been a little bit toxic at times, the boys are firmly behind the manager. That is the way it will stay.
“We have got an amazing coaching staff as well so it can get lost in translation with what the players think and what is said behind closed doors, we just want to do well for the football club.”
Man Utd recently banned a number of journalists from Ten Hag’s press conferences at Carrington after they reported the claims of unrest in the dressing room.
The Red Devils defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford following the emergence of those rumors, and then they lost to Bournemouth for the tenth time this season.
Ten Hag’s squad is now prepared to play Bayern Munich in the Champions League, even though they are aware that a win could send them out of the competition early. On Sunday, they will play Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield.
Even though Ten Hag would be under even more pressure after two more losses, 90min recognizes that Man Utd’s hierarchy currently supports the former Ajax manager wholeheartedly.
