Barcelona Submit €27M Bid for Manchester City Defender
Barcelona have submitted a €27 million offer to Manchester City for Joao Cancelo. Last summer, Barcelona signed Cancelo and Joao Felix from Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, respectively, on the final day of the transfer window. However, neither player had a particularly successful season in Catalonia and both returned to their parent clubs earlier this summer.
Despite this, Barcelona remains interested in Cancelo, especially after selling Julian Araujo to Bournemouth. According to *Sport*, Cancelo is keen on returning to Barcelona, despite interest from Juventus and clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Barcelona has offered Manchester City a loan deal worth €7 million with a €20 million buy clause. However, Manchester City is only interested in a permanent transfer, meaning an agreement between the two clubs has not yet been reached.
