In the FA Cup third round, Newcastle will travel to their northeast rivals Sunderland, while Arsenal will play Liverpool.

Newcastle go to Championship neighbours and fierce rivals Sunderland in the first Tyne-Wear derby since 2016.
Manchester United were drawn away in a domestic cup tie for the first time since 2021 as they go to League One side and 2013 FA Cup winners Wigan, after being handed 12 cup games in a row at Old Trafford.
The only domestic cup finals that United has played away from home in the past three years were the FA Cup semifinal from the previous season, the two-leg Carabao Cup semifinal against Nottingham Forest, and the championship game at Wembley for both competitions.
Champions Manchester City and Chelsea have been drawn to play at home against lower-division teams, Huddersfield and Preston, respectively.
Premier League matches are scheduled between Tottenham and Burnley and Brentford and Wolves. Additionally, Everton will be visiting Crystal Palace.
