EPL: “They’re the team to beat” – Aguero cautions Man City about their title rivals.
Former Argentina striker Sergio Aguero has declared that Arsenal are the team to beat this season
The Gunners have finished as runners-up behind Aguero’s former club, Manchester City, for the past two seasons.
Pep Guardiola’s side has also claimed the title in each of the last four campaigns. However, ahead of the new season, Aguero told Arsenal News Central: “Arteta has fostered a process to solidify his playing style – he knows exactly what type of game he wants his team to play, and the players are increasingly able to execute it.
“The last two seasons have demonstrated that. Additionally, Arsenal has a very young team that is gaining experience rapidly.
“I believe they will be the team to beat this season if City wants to secure the title.”
