Guess whos the standard chartered player of the month
STORIESNovember’s Standard Chartered Player of the Month is Mohamed Salah.
The winner of November’s Standard Chartered Men’s Player of the Month award goes to Mohamed Salah of Liverpool.
The Egyptian wins the award for the third consecutive month after coming out on top of a Liverpoolfc.com fan poll.
In his six appearances during that time, Salah not only contributed an assist but also scored three times, keeping the trophy ahead of teammates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz.
uesday, he told Liverpoolfc.com: “It’s good to win this award, always. The most important thing is winning games and scoring goals for the team, for sure. That’s the most important thing.”
Salah netted twice in the 3-0 victory over Brentford at Anfield in the Premier League and then played the decisive pass to set up Alexander-Arnold’s equaliser in the draw away at Manchester City.
He rounded off the month with a goal from the penalty spot in the 4-0 win against LASK to help secure qualification to the Europa League Round of 16, taking his tally for the club to 199 in the process.
Asked for his favourite moment of November, the No.11 said: “Probably the City one because we were down 1-0 and we managed to score one goal and equalise the game, so I think I would say this one.
“Scoring goals also is good but in that month it could be that assist for Trent.”

Salah and the Reds’ form has continued into December, with Jürgen Klopp’s side delivering three consecutive Premier League victories.
The Egyptian himself, meanwhile, clinched the milestone of 200 goals for the club in all competitions when he struck at Crystal Palace last weekend – only the fifth player to achieve that feat at LFC.
“200 goals is a fantastic accomplishment for a team this size. It makes me very happy,” Salah exclaimed. “My family and the team had a small celebration following the game. happy with it.”
As he continued, “I’ve said before that we can accomplish something special [this season]. All we have to do is believe and work hard in our training, and we’ll see what transpires. We just need to play the games and keep winning; we don’t need to put too much pressure on ourselves.
“We have to take each game as it comes; this week, we must prioritize the Europa League before we can think about [Manchester] United.” One game at a time is what we have to do.”
