Casemiro in action for Manchester United LAPRESSE
Manchester United are ready to sell Casemiro at a significant loss this summer, sources told Football Insider. Saudi clubs are frequently contacting Casemiro’s representatives about a possible transfer.
United bought Casemiro for £70 million but have informed him he can find a new club. At 32, he is one of United’s highest earners, and the club wants to offload his wages. Coaches believe Casemiro can no longer keep up with the Premier League’s pace, feeling his performance has declined.
A deal is expected before the transfer window closes, ending his two-year tenure at Old Trafford. Last season, Casemiro played 32 matches, scoring five goals and providing three assists, but faced criticism from fans and pundits.
Casemiro isn’t the only first-team player that Erik ten Hag is open to letting go this summer.
