Manuel Ugarte ‘Pushing Like Crazy’ for Manchester United Move

Manchester United’s pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte has intensified, with the Uruguayan reportedly “pushing like crazy” for the transfer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Ugarte, 23, has grown increasingly frustrated with PSG’s handling of the move, having been linked with United for nearly the entire summer.

Romano revealed that Manchester United have been negotiating with PSG for the majority of the transfer window, but progress has been stalled due to the French club’s high asking price. Despite United’s interest, a deal has yet to materialize, leaving Ugarte disillusioned with the situation.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has been busy reshaping his squad ahead of the new season. The club has already added Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui to their ranks. However, the central midfield position remains a concern for the Dutch boss.

Ugarte’s push for the transfer has become more urgent in recent days. Romano reports that Ugarte is “really tired” of waiting for PSG to finalize the move, having been on hold for nearly two months. He is keen to resolve the situation and join Manchester United as soon as possible.

The situation took a notable turn when Ugarte was left out of PSG’s squad for their 4-1 Ligue 1 victory over Le Havre, further indicating his marginalization at the club. With Ugarte’s frustration mounting, it remains to be seen if Manchester United can meet PSG’s demands and secure the Uruguayan’s services before the transfer window closes.
