Regarding his transition to the midfield and his confidence levels, Gravenberch said in an interview with TNT Sports prior to Saturday’s trip to Crystal Palace: “We train a lot and in training we do a lot of 11v0, 11v11 and we can feel the strengths of each other.” I believe I can play really well with them in the end.

When Gravenberch moved from Bayern Munich to Anfield in September, he teamed up with two fellow countrymen, Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo.

The No. 38 spoke about the encouraging help he has received from his fellow Dutch players and gave an explanation of why Gakpo’s growth since joining the Reds at the start of 2023 is an inspiration.
