There is a possibility that Djed Spence, who is currently on loan from the Whites, will make his debut at Elland Road on Saturday, according to the manager of Leeds United, Daniel Farke.

During an interview with the Yorkshire Evening Post, the manager of Leeds stated that the 23-year-old player is “getting closer and closer” to returning to action after being sidelined due to physical limitations.

During Leeds’s 3-1 victory over Swansea in the Championship, Farke confessed that he was tempted to bring him on as a substitute in the middle of the week.

In spite of this, he stated that he was unable to bring Spence on because of the fact that Archie Gray was doing well and there was a requirement to substitute Pascal Struijk.

The talented Djed Spence of Leeds United has been plagued by injuries.
Despite the fact that the Tottenham loanee joined Leeds in the summer, he has only provided the Whites with a cameo appearance that lasted for nine minutes.

During the month of September, Spence sustained a ligament injury, which caused him to miss several weeks of training. He has only recently returned to the field for the previous two weeks.

Over the course of the previous week, the full-back was included in the matchday squad for Leeds’ victory over the Welsh team, although he did not participate in the game as a substitute.

“Yes, Djed, because of his ability and his potential, I was thinking a lot about him during the last game,” Farke said in response to the question of whether or not he was tempted to bring Spence into the game.
